LBA’s Largest Multi-Cultural Chambers Networking Event – bringing together business people of different nationalities and cultures to explore business opportunities worldwide – was much more than a mere mixer. The LBA, along with our partner organizations and other business chambers– many representing business interests from around the world– all united with one purpose in mind- to do business together!

The 3rd LBA Chambers Event was the largest and most successful yet- with nearly sixty different exhibitor organizations and businesses represented. Here are just some of their comments:

    “As always I had a wonderful time and met some very interesting people…I am very happy to be a member of the LBA.”

    – Erika Ospina Awad
    Community Programs Supervisor

    “Yes good things happened when you least expect it:
    two Hispanic servers who overheard my presentation signed up for business plan classes; an international distributor set up an appointment for access to capital;
    a start-up signed up for entrepreneurial training; and one consultant/publisher signed up for technical assistance. Everyone of these folks above were not only Hispanic but they were all in the beauty supply business and they didn’t know each other until that nite. So thank you for a wonderful event and your time. You and Ruben are truly great connectors in the community. Thank you for always thinking of us in South LA!”

    -Terry Gubatan
    Business Development Loan Officer
    VSEDC- Vermont-Slauson Economic Development Corporation
