SCE EDGE Program
SoCal Edsion’s EDGE Program is a supplier development program designed to serve firms ranging in size from micro-enterprises to larger firms.
Workshop and Participation Details:
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, November 10, 2014
Participation limited to two individuals per company.
Attendees should bring a laptop or other portal device.
Workshop Learning Objectives:
- Defining your core capabilities.
- Communicating your business value proposition.
- Creating effective capability statements and business profiles.
- Optimizing your marketing opportunities during matchmaking and networking events.
EDGE PROGRAM COMPONENTS
- Mentorship Program:
An 18-month progressive learning that provides developmental opportunities through coaching, mentoring and executive-level education.
- Contract Readiness:
A series of technical assistance and capacity-building workshops aimed at preparing suppliers to do business with SCE and other large corporations.
- Prime Time:
Organized networking events designed to facilitate access and introduction of firms to SCE’s Organization Units and Prime suppliers.
- Targeted Outreach Initiatives:
Targeted outreach efforts to increase participation within under-utilized categories in alignment with SCE Supplier Diversity objectives.
- CBO (Community-Based Organization) Partnerships:
Collaborative technical assistance and capacity-building efforts with community-based organizations.
