Ms. Caren R. Bowman
Ms. Bowman began her career with AT&T in 1984 and has experience in Large and Small Business Sales, Business Marketing and Supply Chain Inclusion. Caren currently serves as a Senior Diversity Sourcing Manager, managing AT&T sourcing opportunities for a number of AT&T’s largest minority suppliers. She also serves as lead New Business Development advocate on behalf of MBE, WBE and SDVOB prospective suppliers.
Ms. Bowman’s previous Diversity roles include program lead for AT&T’s 2012 Operation Hand Salute – a mentoring program designed to develop and enhance entrepreneurial skills for Service-disabled Veteran Entrepreneurs; 2013 AT&T Foundry Diversity Liaison; and 2013 Diversity Advocate for Big Data and Emerging Devices.
Caren brings a strong educational background to AT&T’s Supplier Diversity organization, with advanced studies in International Business and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics. Caren continues her education by attending AT&T University training in the areas of Leadership, Communication and Development.
Ms. Bowman is an active mentor in the American Corporate Partners (ACP) program – a nationwide program dedicated to helping veterans transition from the Armed Services to the civilian workforce.
Caren is a committed fund raiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and a ‘Team in Training’, Marathon and Century Alumna. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Ramblin’ Rogues and the Hand-in-Hand Handicapables Square Dance Clubs of Mission Viejo.
