LBA Events provide our membership and supporters an opportunity to connect with an array of business owners, executives, community leaders and professionals in building a prosperous business network. Education and training also play an important role. In addition to LBA events, LBA Members and affiliates have access to a variety of events including expos, conferences, seminars, workshops and more on a monthly basis. LBA events and our partners’ events are promoted via the LBA Website Calendar and our free eNewsletters. We encourage our members to participate in as many events as possible in order to expand and bolster their business network.
LBA Member Events
– Providing a stage for entrepreneurs to interact with companies of various sizes and obtain referrals and guest speakers to share business knowledge and experience. The LBA Networking Business Series 2012 enable corporate representatives to interact directly with members in a semi-formal setting.
– Highlighting the Grand Opening of an LBA Member Business. Our In-the-Spotlight Series welcome new member businesses to the community while providing an informal, enjoyable networking evening.
– Connecting our members to new business opportunities with Corporate America. How does it work? We round up 50 to 100 business owners that are ready to do business with utilities, banks, hotels, etc. and fully-screen them to make sure they are ready to do business. The LBA charters a bus and in one or two days will visit three (3) companies to do business with. The three companies choose to host a breakfast, lunch, or reception wherein participants have the opportunity to meet the buyers and connect to new business opportunities. Series I, in February 2012, involved Tropicana Las Vegas and the family of MGM Resorts International companies. Series II, coming in July, is slated for the utilities. Series III, involving the entertainmant industry, is slated tentatively in September.
